Meet our highly skilled and friendly staff:

  Our Front Office Staff

    Jackie is our front office schedule coordinator. She has been in the dentistry   office since 1988 when she began working as a dental assistant. Eight years later she changed   her careers to work in the school system, which allowed her more time to spend with her   teenage daughter. For the past three years she has been back in the dental field as a receptionist,   Jackie enjoys spending time with her family and dog as well as attending hot rod events.

    Jan’s interest in dentistry began with a visit to the orthodontist at about age 11.   After that visit she was hooked on dentistry and made it her career. Jan was the only employee   at her first jon in dentistry which gave her a wonderful backround and apperciation for all of the   duties and responsiblities in a dental office. For the last 25 years she has focused on the business   aspect of dentistry. In 1988 she joined Dr. Swan's Staff as his business manager and is pleased   to be apart of a team committed to excellence and customer service. Jan and her husband, Bill,   are both natives to the Pacific Northwest and love to travel and golf.

    Kaylee has been apart of our team since September 2003. She helps in the   front office as well as the back office and is training to be a dental assistant. Kaylee has attended   Clark College for the past two years as a Running Start student and is hoping to go into nursing.   She enjoys traveling, vollyball, snowboarding, and being with famkily and friends.

  Our highly skilled Assistants:

    Jane has a degree in Health Education from Central Michigan University. She   began working in dentistry in Michigan in the late 1980's first in the front office and eventually   at the chair as a dental assistant. Jane moved to Oregon in May of 1990 and started with Dr.   Swan as a dental assistant in July of 1990. Jane can be found in the office on Mondays,   Tuesdays, and Wednesdays working on anything from new patient examinations, to crowns or   oral surgery. She enjoys workin in her 10-year-orl twin's classroom on her days off or traveling   with her husband. She also has a 20-year-old stepdaughter.

    Leah has been a dental assistant for over ten years. She has been working for   Dr. Swan for over three years. She recieved an associate's degree while going to school to be a   hygienist. When she was accepted she also found out she was pregnant and decided to wait on   hygiene. She expects to go back to hygiene school after the family is grown. Leah loves the   outdoors and being with her three-year-old son, Ryan, and her husband Jason. She looks   forward to working with everyone.

    Jennifer joined our team in July of '04, primarily as an assistant for the hygiene   department. She was trained on the job in Sheridan, Wyoming be her personal dentist and has   worked in dentistry for three and a half years now. She moved to Washington 2 years ago for   more job opportunities (and more people!). She is a curios person who enjoys spending time   with her husband, Tim (just married in Feb.),family, and frreinds, traveling, learning new things   - basically she likes to keep busy! She's still pretty new to the area, so bring in your suggestions   for places to shop, eat, and see when you come in.

  Our Registered Dental Hygienists:

    Kathy joined Dr. Swan's staff in 1976 as a restorative dental hygienist. Her   dutites include placing and finishing fillings, cosmetic fillings, anesthesia, and periodontal   cleanings. Kathy completed the dental hygiene program at Clark College dental hygiene   program for several years and continues to support its program. Kathy has engoyed many   long-term relationships from the practice and also enjoys making new ones. She especially   derives satifaction working with the young children in the practice. In her free time she enjoys   spending time with family, gardening, home decorating, and vactioning in Sunriver and Hawaii.

    Kim has been a member of Dr. Swan's team for nearly 20 years as a part-time   periodontal hygienist. She attened Oregon State University for her general studies prior to being   accepted to the hygiene program at Clark College. Kim appericates the long-term relationships   she has established helping to improve the health of our clients. Kim enjoys her family , which   includes her husband, Michael, and her three children. In her free time, she enjoys her dahlia   garden and catching up with friends.

    Jean has worked part-time at Dr. Swan's since 1995 as a periodontal hydienist.   She grew up in Seattle, where she attended the University of Washington and graduated Magna   Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene in 1974. Since then she has practiced   in Washington and Virgina. Coming to Dr. Swan's was a "breath of fresh air" because of the   quality, integrity, respect, and tewamwork experienced in his office. She also teaches part-time   at Clark College with first year students in the dental hygiene clinic. She enjoys outdoor and   church activites with her husband, Roy, and two children.
